24 Hours Savings Campaign: Energy Efficiency Card for Tires with Fuel Consumption
SEEC’s transport experts recommended, through the 24-Hours Saving Campaign, the need to adhere to the "Tyre EE" Label, which explains the difference between the types of fuel-efficient tyres so that to choose the most energy-efficient tyre.
The tyre energy efficiency label consists of two sections. The first on the left side is for energy efficiency and the amount of fuel that can be saved from the choice of this kind of tyre. The second section on the right side is for tyre grip on wet surfaces, which reflects how tyres resist sliding on a wet surface. Each of the two sections has 6 levels gradient from excellent to very bad.
If black arrow is on the green "excellent" level of energy efficiency, it means that the tyre is among the best energy-saving tyres. If the arrow is on the orange "bad" level, it means that using this tyre will result in high fuel consumption. On the label, you can find two arrows. On the left, there is the one showing the level of energy efficiency. On the right, there is the other one showing the level of grip on wet surfaces. The tyre level of each of those two properties is written inside the arrow in English.
