Launching "Energy Conservation in Government Facilities" Courses for 2021

SEEC announces starting registration in "Energy Conservation in Government Facilities" courses for the year of 2021 next February, in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. These courses are addressed to specialists and workers in the field of maintenance, projects, procurement and other departments related to government agencies. The courses, to be held online, aim to raise the efficiency of specialists in these agencies towards commitment to periodic and preventive maintenance that contributes to raising the efficiency of energy consumption in government facilities. The course will be held over 4 days by 50 training courses during the year, and includes topics on the basics of energy management, energy conservation in lighting systems and electrical systems, buildings skin, air conditioning systems, thermal energy storage, in addition to energy conservation in sustainable buildings and maintenance work in energy rationalization. SEEC invited government employees who wish to attend the courses to register via the SEEC's website "www.seec.gov.sa" through the "Government Courses" icon. It is worth mentioning that SEEC, which is interested in applying electricity consumption rationalization mechanism in government sector, as directed by Royal Highness, is working on 3 tracks. The first track is the technical track, which aims at clarifying the necessary standards to raise the electricity consumption efficiency in all existing government facilities and installations, and the mechanisms of their application. The second track is concerned with training programs, which contribute to raising the capabilities and qualifying the competent human resources in government agencies to carry out the tasks of rationalizing and raising energy efficiency in their agencies. The third track is concerned with raising the awareness about the importance of rationalizing energy consumption and raising its efficiency through sustainable awareness programs and activities for the staff of these agencies.
